The Brisbane Nagarathar Sangam (BNS) began as a WhatsApp group in 2018, serving as a platform to connect and organise events for the Nagarathar community in Brisbane, our inaugural event was the Pillayar Nombu, a cherished tradition that brought us all together.

In recognition of our growth and commitment to the community, BNS has officially become an incorporated association on 8th April 2025. This transition allows us to operate with greater transparency, accountability, and legal standing, ensuring a more structured and sustainable future for our initiatives.

While our WhatsApp group remains active for event coordination, our incorporation marks a significant step in formalising our operations and expanding our reach.
